Partial Payment Policy
We offer Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) to provide flexibility for our valued customers. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to upfront deposits, balance payments, order confirmation, and refunds when using the Partial Payment option on Ajaveda.com.
How Partial Payment Works
Initial Payment (Online)
Pay a portion of your order total upfront during checkout to secure your booking.
Due Amount (Later)
Pay the remaining balance online before delivery or in cash directly to the delivery agent.
Payment Structure
Upfront Payment
A non-refundable deposit (specified at checkout, e.g., 20% of order total or a fixed advance of ₹500) is charged when you place your order.
Due Amount
- Online Payment: Pay via UPI, card, wallet, or bank transfer using a payment link we will email or SMS to you.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Pay cash directly to the logistics agent upon delivery.
Order Confirmation
Your order is confirmed only after the initial payment is successful. Once confirmed, you will receive an email/SMS containing:
- Order summary and initial payment receipt.
- Due amount and instructions to pay online (if chosen).
Delivery Process
If you chose Cash on Delivery:
- Inspect your package before paying the due amount.
- Refuse delivery if the package appears to be damaged or tampered with.
If you pre-paid online:
No cash is due at delivery. Simply accept your order from the shipping agent!
Cancellations & Refunds
Initial Payment
The upfront payment is non-refundable after 24 hours of placing the order (covers order compilation and dispatch processing fees).
Due Amount Paid Online
- Fully refundable if the order is canceled before shipping.
- Non-refundable if canceled after shipping (standard return shipping fees apply).
Failed Deliveries
After 2 unsuccessful delivery attempts by the carrier, the order is automatically canceled. The initial payment is forfeited to cover logistics dispatch, while any online-paid due amounts are refunded.
Exclusions
Please note that discount coupons and other promotional offers may not be applicable to orders placed using the Partial Payment option, unless specified otherwise. The advance payment amount remains fixed.
